Hi! Welcome to my Portfolio! My name is Azel. I am currently in my final year in pursuing my diploma in Mass Communication from the school of Film and Media Studies in Ngee Ann Polytechnic.

My time in Ngee Ann was really amazing as I ventured through the various modules.

While in year 1 of my studies, I found that I really enjoyed photography and have decided to nurture and grow my interest in this particular field. I enjoy taking portraits and events and have even helped a friend film his brother's wedding! I enjoy capturing the special moments that people can look back on and remember the joy.

I was privileged to be selected to go for an overseas internship in Shanghai at an advertising agency where I worked on projects for clients such as Adidas, Sephora and Hennessy. It was a really amazing experience to be working hands on on these projects. My biggest takeaways includes client management and business trips which gave me a better insight on how advertising industries function as well as a global outlook on how different businesses operate in different landscapes. Moreover, living in Shanghai for 6 months gave me an opportunity to interact with locals, which gave me a very personal understanding of how the locals felt about Chinese policies or issues that had piqued global attention.

I also enjoy making long-term goals as a motivation to keep me going when I come across challenges. In the future I want to start my own business in events and digital media strategies.
